What gets deleted

Submitting this form will permanently delete your Gochar account. The following data will be removed:

  • Firebase Authentication record — your Google sign-in link to Gochar is removed. You will no longer be able to sign in with this account.
  • Account identifier — your unique user ID and associated email address are erased from our authentication provider.

The following data is stored only on your device and is not held on our servers. It is removed when you uninstall the app:

  • Birth date and birth place
  • Notification preferences
  • Cached festival and panchanga data
Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Once processed, your account cannot be recovered. Any active subscription must be cancelled separately via the Apple App Store or Google Play before deletion — cancelling your account does not automatically end billing.

How to find your User ID

Your User ID is required to identify and delete the correct account. To find it:

  1. 1 Open the Gochar app and sign in.
  2. 2 Tap the Profile tab at the bottom of the screen.
  3. 3 Tap the Settings icon (top right).
  4. 4 Your User ID is shown under Account → User ID. Copy it and paste it into the form below.

Alternatively — delete from within the app

You can also delete your account directly without using this form: go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account. This removes your authentication record instantly. The form below is provided for users who no longer have access to the app.

Submit a deletion request

Fill in your User ID and registered email address. Requests are processed within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email when deletion is complete.
